My name is Morgan.

In 2023 I was arrested for Trafficking Meth, Heroine, and Fentanyl. I did almost 2 years in Franklin County. God allowed me to sit in that until I was ready. Then He made a way. At which point I was transferred to my hometown to do time for probation violations until November 26 2024.

Then, once again, God made a way! I finally went to Halle’s House and that is where I really dug in and found My Lord and Savior and built a solid relationship with Him.

In that time, He helped me get my License back, pay off all my court fees, get a job, all while restoring my relationship with my family.

Going forward I graduated the program, became house mom & was GIVEN A CAR! I was walking in my calling.

Where am I now? I’m married to the man of my dreams-who strives for us to have the best life and works extremely hard, he loves Jesus and we continue our walk with God, together in our marriage, through church, prayer, and Bible studies. We now have a second vehicle and our own place. I am going through training to get my Certified Peer Support License. I’ve got a week left until the exam! So, prayers would be appreciated.

Oh and I can COOK FOOD NOW!!! And it actually tastes good!!!! It’s not burnt or undercooked.
Yayyyy.

This is my story, BUT this is not the end!

My name is Ashley.

For more than 20 years I was trapped in addiction. My life became a cycle of pain, poor choices, jail stays, overdoses, and broken relationships. I lost my children, lost my sense of self, and found myself heading down a path that was leading to one of two places: prison or death.

I overdosed more times than I can count. Each time I survived, I was given another chance, but I wasn’t ready to change. Addiction had a hold on me that I couldn’t break on my own. I felt hopeless, defeated, and convinced that my life would never be any different.

Everything began to change when I found God. Through His grace and mercy, He placed people and opportunities in my life that helped me find a new way to live. One of those blessings was Halle’s House with In His Arms Ministries. There, I found support, accountability, love, and a foundation for recovery that centered on faith.

Today, my life looks completely different. On July 3, 2026, I will celebrate one year free from fentanyl. I have a job, a place to call home, and a roommate. Most importantly, I am rebuilding my relationship with my children and working every day to become the mother they deserve.

Recovery has not always been easy, but it has been worth every step. Finding God was the best thing I have ever done. He gave me hope when I had none, strength when I was weak, and purpose when I felt lost. Through Him, I have learned that my past does not define my future.

My story is proof that recovery is possible. No matter how far gone you think you are, there is hope. If God can change my life after 20 years of addiction, countless overdoses, and losing everything, He can do the same for anyone willing to take that first step.

Today, I choose recovery. Today, I choose faith. Today, I choose life
